flash player not working on bbc site

afternoon
my flash player is not working on the bbc site, i just get the spinning dots, but it works everywhere else(youtube etc) it is the latest version.
am running vista fully updated, virgin 10mb and 2gb ram,
been like this for about a fortnight.
anyone got any ideas how to get it working?

at home and using windows firewall.

just tried with the firewall turned off and it made no difference.

have tried Chrome and IE,neither of these work on the bbc site but work fine on all others.

Are you a 100% sure it's the Flash? Normally it'll tell you the flash plug-in isn't working... (i thought the spinning dots only worked if Flash was working - might be wrong!)

Try the "lower bandwith version" (the link is below the programme description) first and then if not, have you tried re-installing Flash?

Also, can you remember if you installed any programs / plug-ins two weeks ago or at the same sort of time this stopped working?

yes, its flash player 10, have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times.
just getting the spinning dots on the bbc site.
but is works fine on all other sites,
have just tried deleting all cookies and browsing content but it is still not working on the bbc site,
but all videos on the bbc site play fine in chrome on my netbook?????????????????????????????.

I'll have to think about other options! Have you tried downloading a programme and then watching it once downloaded?

could it be your broadband speed? usually this is because the data isn't coming thru quick enough
