I'm hoping to trade in my current xbox 360 for the newest one out, the 1 I have is the white 1 (not the elite or arcade) but I'm not sure what GB it is as my friend's says on the harddrive on the side but mine doesn't, any idea how to find out?
The real thing I want to know is are my games and downloads saved to my gamertag or my harddrive and if I trade it in what am I likely to lose?
Thanks in advance

Well for starters the elite is black.
The arcade doesn't come with a hard drive.
Which means you've got the old "premium model" (does it have a silver CD tray? If so then it's a "premium")
I believe it should be a 20GB hard drive, can't remember how you to check, think it's on the system -> Hard drive menu on the 360.:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -
Your gamertag is stored in an online profile, so you can just log into the new Xbox with your exisiting tag. However, game saves & downloads are on the hard drive. I don't know if there's a copy facility for the xbox, but if there isn't you'll lose that data.0

you can buy a transfer kit and copy it over if you buy think its about £15. When the elite came out you could get a kit for free but not anymore !
Game I know were doing a free transfer service when the new xbox launched last week.
Worth asking them if they do it and how much0 -
as for the downloads eg arcade titles etc, you can re download them from the marketplace at no cost.0

go into the blade/menu for hard drive/save management and see how much space you've used. It will show something like 19gb used of 20gb.
But you've probably got a 20gb hard drive.0
