Moving fridgefreezer

Hi, moving house at the end of the month, and will be getting a luton with a tail lift.
I'm thinking about how I can get the fridgefreezer (and washing machine) down the steps at front of property - took two men to bring it up them but it was fully packaged at the time and I don't want to damage it by banging it around.
Was thinking of using something like:
http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cst2b-sack-truck/path/sack-trucks-trolleys
to strap it to. Is that suitable? Will the base be long enough?
Are there any good places to rent or borrow these from rather than buy a new one?
Cheers
