sky + remote £1 tesco glitch

I hate to say it - but it is on occasions like this that i really don't tlike this site. People talking about glitches etc - paying £1 for something that everybody else has to pay £20-odd for.
Some people on here have no shame. Seeing somehting reduced is great, and we all love a bargain. But this was a clear mistake, and 'kicking up a fuss' about it is really inappropriate, in my opinion. I personally would feel so disrespectful to all of the otehrs that had to pay the correct price, and would simply accept paying what everyone else has. Then trying to get double the difference back - how pathetic. Get a life people.
Maybe you have a point.
However, do remember that Tesco's seem to have a policy that it is ok to overcharge customers, ie. SEL being lower than till price, and even though it is brought to their attention at Customer service with the DTD, they continue not to fix the error.
So in my humble view Tesco's make more in overpricing customers than they actually pay out in DTD.
Remember, DTD is THEIR policy not one laid down by the customer. How much ?????????!!!0 -

have only just read this thread, but just wanted to say that op was just trying to help people, not to gloat that they paid less than anyone else! after all, thats what its all about, trying to help each other, as tesco has overcharged me loads of times, and i have found out too late!!
also, years ago, i used to work for them, and believe me, they would get away with not paying overtime, etc properly.
its not their money or goods!
i don't say i would have had the guts to argue the point, but good luck to those who did!;)i keep losing weight, but it just keeps on finding me!!!!!!:D0
