updating means not to your taste (or anyone else's)
remedial work could mean anything - but I'd bet something's broken or leaking. ask the agent.0 -
Being cynical,
Needs updating = not been decorated for 30 years
Needs remedial = roof/wiring/windows/doors/kitchen/bathroom any or all could need replacing!!
