Fair comment. We still have to take stuff that they don't collect as well.shona wrote:Well you see you're lucky - we have to take all our recycling ourself to the recycling place, so this might be useful for us...
But I still don't understand the need for a specially made recycling bag with it's own environmental footprint, when you could recycle an old box or bag instead.0 -
True, except I suppose it might all be in the name of tidiness. At the moment we have one plastice crate type thing in the house which we empty and separate ~daily into about 6 more outside! But I suspect this bag would fill up fast, and inevitably one compartment would still be empty when the others are full!
Hmm - think I've just talked myself out of it!.0 -
I received mine on Saturday, it has been put to good use already and looks rather smart in the kitchen.[size=-2]Remember its nice to be nice and its good to share!

:hello: Received mine this morning, really good quality and will keep everything neat and tidy, 3 compartments will use it for paper/cardboard/plastic wrapping. I have bins for cans, bottles etc and veg peelings so i am now fully organised0

My recycling bag arrived at the weekend and I must confess to being really pleased with it. We do have recycling boxes outside but I am keeping this bag in the kitchen, loading it up with all the recyclable items in the different compartments so that I only need to make one trip outside per day to the boxes and I don't have piles of newspapers, bottles, cans, plastics etc piling up precariously in the corner of the kitchen. All nice and tidy now - even the OH is impressed and that's not easy.0
