Cheapish plastic tablecloths?

Where would you look? I need them to go under highchairs when daughter visits with 1 year old twins. They don't have to be beautiful, just fairly robust. I've looked at plastic coated fabric by the yard, but that's a bit narrow.

  • Have you tried Dunelm. They sell it by the yard in loads of different patterns. It is priced up at £8.99 per yard but I got 2 yards cut and the price was £5.98! The label said 2 x £2.99. Bargain. Do not know if it was a misprice or on sale but for interest it was the icecream print.

A yard couls easily be cut into smaller squares to go under the highchairs

Shaw's have them down our way - usually tucked away but you can get them for a few quid each.

John Lewis also do it by the yard - I got some Christmassy tablecloth fabric for £2.99 (heavily reduced) a yard a few weeks ago to make a cover for my mixer (note to self MAKE THAT COVER!!).

Thanks everyone - sorry both to be late in replying, and to have no thanks button for some reason.
My Dunelm (where I started looking) currently has nothing. I think the shower curtain idea probably cracks it.

Edited to add: Thanks button back from its hols!

    Cheap tarps?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

I'm very short of storage space - would they probably be bulky when folded and not in use?
