Hi maniac886. The drive I mentioned in my previous post is most likely to be the best you'll get into your laptop.
Your ATA-5 interface is fairly old, but as the drives should be backwards compatible, you shouldn't have a problem. There have been issues in the past with having to slow hard drives down through software or changing the cable that connects the device (which is not applicable for laptops).
However, I would seriously send the link of the hard drive to Toshiba to verify.
It's a fine hard drive and will speed up your computer immensely, but you need to have capacity limits checked and whether Toshiba thinks there will be any problems.
Changing the drive is not a problem, but it doesn't take a long time to send an email and get a reassurance response first!
