I don't think I'd put a bike in the bath anyway (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
A serious looker will have a clipboard, they are determined, focussed, organised and mean to do business.
Maybe they'll start a thread about the house owner who hadn't furnished them with a pack containing relevant details about the house/area and quotes and drawings for work/improvements a new buyer might like to consider.0 -
Putting a bike in the bath seems quite sensible to me, under the right circumstances. They might normally keep it in the hallway, but needed to get it out of the way for the viewing. Or they might have put it in there to wash it down, then dry off ... and forgot it.0

Yes - but where do you keep your coal if there's a bike in the bath?0 -
Prersonally. I tend to think that "very quick" viewings (especially those that involve "just sticking your head into a room" are not positive viewings at all. My guess is that he saw something very early during the viewing that he didn't like (possibly before he got through the door...). He continued with the viewing to either ensure that ge had no amazing revelations OR out of politeness (since would be awkward to stop you and say "sorry, I hate the amount of parking, let's just stop right here...").
Sorry

The lady who bought my flat literally ran around the place in about 30 seconds. She lived in a similar flat up the road and wanted to buy another one as an investment.Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0

Just an update, estate rang the viewer again today and he said he still liked the property but was unhappy with the size of the garage. So i will forget about that one.
The agent had said that they had someone take a brochure yesterday that seemed keen- they obviously werent that keen or they would have come to see it by now.
I am stuck at the moment as I know I cant sell but even if I did I cannot see anymore close to move to, as I have children and grandparents mind/take and collect from school etc and its not practical to move out of the area. But Ive wanted to move (if I can sell) for so long but I think I might have to try and accept that I have to stay0
