in Credit cards
I'm new to this but any advice would be appreciated...
I work full time and have a fiancee and children... over the past few years my fiancee has secretly aquired credit cards and when I've found the statements I've had to pay them back to the sums of £6-10k per time... this is putting considerable strain on me and our relationship as I don't feel like I can keep paying them off when she gets a considerable sum of money from me each month (she doesn't work). A friend mentioned that there might be some way of getting her blacklisted so that she cannot apply for any new credit cards... does anyone know about this or how I can find out more information?
Thanks

No such thing as a black list..
Best thing to do is tell her the score,if not get rid of her..0 -
If you hadn't paid off those cards, she would be 'black-listed' by now (due to her levels of debt and her messed-up credit file).
If your fiancee is dishonest, you should ask yourself if this is the right relationship.0 -
Why have YOU had to pay them back? If she hasn't got income, she shouldn't be getting the debt. Surely you're just encouraging her behaviour by subconciously telling her that you'll bail her out every time..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

sound harsh but the advice is valid - as long as the debt gets paid, if anything it strengthens the chance of the next one. let her default. and don't get any joint accounts.0
