Not too bad, except for the takeaway :o. It's been a carp few days in work and I need a treat.

Edit: Just remembered, I've also found a couple of cheap items on Amaz0n, via MSE which I'll put away for Christmas. They're the first of my stash and will be ideal for either mine or OHs secret santa gifts :D.

    Hello everyone!
Glad to see people are a bit more positive today - Determined special hugs for you (((( ))))).

The gas man has been already to mend the boiler and has popped off to get a part - he seems to know what's wrong and its on a fixed fee basis including parts and labour so at least no nasty surprises with the bill. OH and I will pay £80 each so I suppose it could be worse.:o

    My list....
    • Walk dogs for free exercise (done 1) done 3 now
    • Do one load of washing (the final holiday wash - hurrah!) and dry naturally - its taken so long to do it all because of the weather and drying it all done
    • Text dad to say happy birthday - he's on hols in Spain done
    • NPower man came and gave me a quote for swapping suppliers and it works out at 75% of the cost of British Gas for me so going ahead and swapping done
    • All food from stores - sweet potato curry, chick pea and spinach dahl and naan bread for tea - yummy and scoffed!
    • Find a recipe for chick pea dahl! made one up
    • Check banks done
    • Transfer my half of boiler repair from savings - grrrr! forgot will do tomorrow
    • Do any survey sthat come got chucked out
    • Read library book and check when they're due back will do in a minute
    • Fiddle with meal plan for next week to minimise shopping needed done
    • Continue finding cheap/free places to go with sister next week thinking the museum, swimming, cheap cinema tickets
    • Clean living room glass panel doors - hate that job! done
    • Try to have a NSD - again! Actually managed it!
That's all I can think of for now - will pop back later if I'm inspired!

    Quite productive.
Have also written a list of jobs to do around the house whilst I'm home for the summer - see how many actually get done??
