ATM machines which don't charge in the US and Canada

I think all ATMs charge now. DS lives in the US and we have travelled there for a while. Early 2009, they were all charging a small fee like @2.50 for a withdrawal.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Banks are antiquated over here.
I belong to PNC. Use anyone else's ATM and I get charged...
Good job I use cash once in a blue moon and haven't needed to use any others

Not all ATMs charge - we were in the US earlier this month and made withdrawals at supermarkets, etc. without charge. Actual bank ATMs may charge if you're not a customer of that particular bank, but not all charge.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
