the council in Edinburgh will do you for both

The difference is that their tickets are enforceable, the PPC ones are not!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

but you stated you had an issue with charging for those reasons?
i was showing that it being an enforcable ticket doesnt mean you wont get charged for the same thing

I have issues with being scammed by companies who think they can act like a council, and issue you with tickets that are not enforceable, but pretend that they are, and try to force people into paying by scare tactics!

As you know its a different kettle of fish with enforceable tickets, and I have successfully got off a ticket in the past because they messed up on it, as have been suggested on here if it comes to it I will appeal everytime! Though I always pay for a ticket, and its very rare indeed I don't leave on time.

I was ticketed in sainsbury a few weeks ago for having one car wheel on the line, if I turned the steering wheel it wouldn't have been, is receiving a £50 invoice fair in that case, or in a council run car park? You are not really obstructing another car parking over the other bay

i agree (though i think the clampers should be the 1st target) but in this case the OP chose to use a car park requiring payment without paying
the thing is as a private individual, what do you do to protect/preserve your parking space/areas?

Fairness doesn't come into it - the PPC scum need to give out the maximum number of fake tickets to bring in the most revenue.

If it was a council car park you may be looking at de minimis.
