    Which IP?

Are you happy with the proposed payments? Remember it's for five years?

Being happy or feeling comfortable with the monthly contribution is the biggest concern now!

Ip is McCambridge Duffy. I have read reviews and they are rated very well for helpfulness etc and been reccomended on the MSE forum. The proposed payment is very welcome if it gets accepted by the creditors.

    They are very good.

Stay positive then, usually an IP wont waste either yours or their own time... it takes the same amount of work and costs to produce an IVA that is accepted as it does to produce an IVA that gets rejected - but they wont get paid a penny for a rejected IVA.

    Good luck!

Have you spoken to anyone who can give you impartial advice or done the CCCS debt remedy on-line? Have you looked at other options?

At least have a look at the websites of CCCS and National Debtline so that you can confirm yourself that other options aren't more appropriate.

    Did I miss something?

I am the poster above you and I'm not advertising!? Am I!?

SCOUSEMAID... every CAB is different as far as i know - they only have the expertise they are able to hire, there is no real training or set process throughout the whole of CAB as it is a fairly disorganised model.

One office might be able to give you great advice on debt solutions, another might not have a member of staff with a background in this area. I can stand to be corrected on this but it was certainly the impression I was given.

    Thanks for all the advice.

I have known for months that I need an IVA, but pride was always stopping me from applying for one, so it is not something I have just decided to get. I have looked into all the possiblilites, but with about £35000 of debt, I have spoke to McCambridge Duffy and have been very happy with the service and advice I have recieved so far. Will let you know of my experiences.
