Help needed urgently

Hello, I have been with T mobile since last April. I got the free laptop and internet dongal for £40 a month.
I have had trouble with my internet connection since day one.
Everytime I have contacted them I have been told it is a transmitter problem until today.
A tech phoned me and explained that I havent been getting the bandwith/speed I have been paying for. He advised me to contact customer services as he could only offer to wave my payment for one month.
I just spoke to tmobile and was told I could have a discount of £5 a month as im already getting £10 a month discount starting from next month.
I dont think this is suitable and said I was offered free internet next month, she told me I could have that but then I wouldnt be able to have the discount.
Is there anything I can do as I have been overcharged for my service from the beginning of my contract which is over a year.
 please give me some advice
Thanks to everyone who posts
