Need some advice on grants available in wales.
I need to move back in with my parents as they can no longer look after themselvs. My mother is blind and in her 80s and my father is riddeld with arthrities from working all his life in the mines.
The problem is there is not enough room in the house and i need to build an extention for 1 more bedroom.
Does anyone know if there are grants available to help with the cost of this.
Thanks

afaik there are no grants in england/wales for that type of work.
councils can/do supply loans for old people though. where old peeps cannot access normal bank loans.
the loans are secured on the property and must be paid back when the property is sold.
(after death).
im not sure if the loans can be used for any home improvements. it maybe only for energy saving and essential repairs etc...Get some gorm.0
