How do I go about getting consent to let my flat?
Hello all,
some of you may have followed our journey from London to Cardiff over the past 2 years.
I had a 15 month contract working in Cardiff until the end of June. Unfortunately for me the lady came back from maternity leave but fortunately for me, I have taken up a 6 months role for the same employer in London. Although we would have loved to stay in Cardiff the job prospects are dire and therefore we feel we have to move on. We bought a 2 bedroom flat, which we are now considering renting out or selling. I have not yet approached the Bank of Ireland (used to be Bristol and West) to find out if they would allow us to rent out the flat for 2 years rather then selling now.
Does anyone have experience with situations like this?
Thanks
