We did once hit a cat which just ran across the road in front of us. It didn't do our car much good, and the cat even less!

Its just a thought, but our cat started acting like she had dementia when she was about 10. It turned out that she had eaten a dose of rat poison left out by one of our neighbours, who didn't bother to ask us to keep her in! It wasn't enough poison to kill her, but she was never the same again. She lived a further seven years, but at times her behaviour could be really peculiar.

They definitely can go deaf - so is it that she doesn't hear the cars coming? And they can also go short-sighted as well. So if she can't see or hear the cars coming, what's to move for?

As I said before I don't think she's either deaf or blind to any degree. If she is outside and I open the bedroom window she looks up at me so I know she can still hear ok. Also if she's indoors in the porch and I stand at one end then put my hand out, she sees it as an invitation to come and be fussed and comes to me so I know she can still see ok.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
