You know the old saying.....time is money?
Well I wondered what tips you all have, in saving time about the house.
Mine are as follows...
Well I wondered what tips you all have, in saving time about the house.
Mine are as follows...
- I hoover up the dust on windowsills, coffee tables, mantlepieces etc...quicker and more effective than dusting with cloth
- I always give the bathroom sink a quick swish round with a MF cloth every time I use it...saves on bathroom cleaning time
- I shower the dog..(when she needs one) at the same time as I shower myself
- I batch cook for the freezer at every opportunity...also saves money, as we don't buy ready meals
- I keep the iron and board upstairs in the spare room....saves tripping up and down the stairs with the ironing
- Only ever clean the house thoroughly once every two weeks...no point in doing more often as only two of us at home
- Steam clean whenever and whatever I can...cuts cleaning time by half.
When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!
