Has anyone got a 60th wedding anniversary cost cutting present idea???

My grandparents recently celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. If yours are anything like mine they didn't want or need any more "things", like ornaments.

We managed to get hold of a photo of their wedding, printed it A4(ish) at home in black and white and then got a large photo frame (12x18"). Inside the frame was a mount that was about 3" wide all the way round. All the family then signed the mount, which was then put in the frame. They loved it!!! Can anyone scan a picture and send it to you? You could maybe just get your own family.

They also got a copy of the Telegraph from the day they married.

Don't forget the card from the Queen. It costs about £3/4 to be sent to them. You need to know where they were married.

What about a search on the internet to find out what was happening on the day they married. I can't recall the site at the moment but you can also find out the prices of staple item, scars, songs playing, etc. You could print it out and put it in a frame.
