My husband is a self employed relief milker/agriculural worker so it's a service he offers more than a business but needs an account anyhow.

A previous self employment failed but that was about 18mths ago...

Would he not be better becoming employed, rather than self employed?

Impossible, finding a farming business/farmer that wants to be an "employer" (around here) is like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Hubby would love to have the security but empolyed positions are so very few and far between.
Relief milking and odd days of farm work is far better than not working, he does still do carpet fitting (his other trade) as and when jobs come up.
