Do I pay my excess

Hi, I reversed into someone, my car wasn't damaged but the other car was slightly.

If they contact their insurance company to put in a claim to get their car fixed and I don't contact my insurance company as my car wasn't damaged, do I pay my insuance excess?

Thanks

You still need to tell your insurers even if you aren't claiming for your car. You really don't want the 3rd party telling your insurers when they claim for the damage to their car.

And no, you won't pay an excess.

There is generally no excess on 3rd party claims.
You would only pay that if you were claiming for your own car on your won insurance.
