Also a very quick one, anyone know how to put french symbols on when using Word.Daughter has to make some posters in French and needs to add accents, teacher told her to press alt and 140 but it doesn't seem to work when we do it?
Thanks!

Plenty opinions about anti-virus products on this forum, look at the Stickies.

The ALT 140 needs to be done with the numeric keypad.

  • There's a table and explanation in Wikipedia

Note that you have to use the numeric keypad, not the numbers above the letters.

Always worth checking with your employer (or university) in case you can get free anti virus from them under their licensing. I've used McAfee for years and never paid a penny.
