It is working for Bounty as a photographer/distributor of baby packs to new mums & babies in hospital... lol! which is what I will be in about 10 weeks... :D

Likely that the person who gives me my pack/takes the photo of baby will be the person who got the job :rotfl:

Well at least you'd be starting with first hand experience if a similar position came up next march!!! :D

I was offered a job and pulled out due to finding out I was pregnant (I'm now 25 weeks), but got called the other week to say would I be interested in re-applying next year, so never say never!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I don't see why you wouldn't get invited to an interview if there was nothing in your application that disqualified you. For me, the issue is that if I was interviewing to fill a vacancy we needed filling "now", we'd favour someone who could start "now" over someone who could not. The reason why isn't relevant, and I don't think this is discrimination.

Discrimination would surely only apply if you were turned down because you couldn't start until March 2011 due to pregnancy and instead the job was offered to an otherwise equal candidate who couldn't start until march 2011 because they were taking time out to "see the world".

its ok, I know it wouldn't be discrimination on the potential employers part and that is not a concern. I was just wondering whether it would be worthwhile to apply or not. I think I have decided not to and will wait and hope it comes up again.... :)
