student overdraft query?

Hi
I've just finished the 2nd year of my course, and was looking at my bank account. At the start of July last year, I received a letter saying that my overdraft was due for renewal at the end of July. I reapplied for my overdraft and it was granted. Now I am wondering why have I not received another letter yet stating my overdraft? Does it now stay at this level till the end of next year? It's with Halifax if that helps? and is a student account!
