renting out flat with council DGS

it is unfurnished except for carpets, curtains and white goods.

i have a couple interested and wanting to move in so they must be happy with this.

just wondered what people thought about things like leaving a hoover and lawn mower? should i invest in these or let the tenant buy there own?

also the gardens a bit tired should i be spending money getting it tidied up or leave it how it is seeing as the tenants didnt question it?

My current property was semi-furnished but no lawnmower depsite having a good size garden. So I brought mine own! It also had no hoover. If your going to move into an unfurnished property there is a good chance your have items like this so I would just rent it as is. A cheap hoover and lawmower brand new cost approx £20 each.
