or just ignore the fools.
There is burger all they can do apart from write you an occasional letter, so they can take a long walk of a short pier.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Report them as the letter describes then.
Or just ignore the fools.
As said, there is nothing at all they can do apart from write the occasional letter.
They are completely stuffed, and they are just waffling and trying to wheedle something out of you.
Send them with a complaint to the aforesaid bodies, bin them, shred them for rabbit or hamster bedding or whatever you feel like.
If you feel like it, make a "proposal" as to exactly where they can shove their demands.:rotfl:

I doubt they will do that again. If they do, tell them to naff off. They have no powers at all.

If they can't prove you owe the money, why should you pay? Sounds like scare tactics to me. I had the same last year with a company called Ruthbridge demanding money for a debt I was not aware of. I sent the letter giving the 40 days in order to prove it. I've not heard from them since. I guess as people are becoming wise to their tactics they have to up their response and try new ways to get money.-Slimming World Challenge

Ignore them or report them then.
