Damp work

Hi

We had loads of rising damp work done last year.

We have an area of damp next to the front door on an internal wall. The damp is obvious, the patch is just over a foot wide and quite high. Had the guy out who did out previous damp work yesterday to quote -

"...18" wide and 6' high. Drill and inject horizontal & vertical chemical DPC and re-render to incorporate a salt inhibitor, slurry and set with fresh plaster."

He's quoting £365 + VAT (c. £430 all in I guess)

What do you guys reckon?
