Hi,
Just received a quote from a building team who have re-done my bathroom previously and who we Like/trust.
the kitchen is 18'8 by 6'6 roughly.
the quote is for the following and comes to £3800 (for labour and supplied materials, such a piping, boards, fusebox etc)
ü Take down old ceiling
ü Make opening in the roof
ü Install sky light and flushing
ü Make metal framing for the ceiling
ü New electric installation for the spot lights
ü Fit insulation
ü Fit plasterboards to the metal construction
ü Install spot lights
ü Fit new fuse box with the breakers, Rcd
ü New electric circuit for the kitchen, new electric points,
ü New electric installation for cooker hood and cooker.
ü Remove radiator
ü Hide pipes
ü Fit plasterboards to the walls
ü Plaster walls and ceiling
ü New plumbing installation for wash basin,
ü Fit plywood over the floorboards
ü Lay tiles on the floor and grout
ü Install kitchen units
ü Install appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, cooker hood etc.)
ü Fit worktops
ü Fit new radiator
ü Disposal debris

thanks everyone
they did my bathroom at the end of last year, and were fantastic.
we have booked them for Sept0 -
You're not around Surrey are you by any chance? i'd have them do my kitchen too. I only seem to come across one man bands, who prefer to do the job by themselves. This is ok if you're in no rush, but I want it done asap ... Desperately seeking the DIY SOS team or similar
I just can't bare weeks of disruption.
