first camcorder

Hi folks. I've never had/used a camcorder before, and am looking for something easy to use and upload to my pc or view on the tv. (I have an hd tv, but don't necessarily need an hd camcorder).
It will mostly be used for footage of grandson, holidays etc, and the budget is up to £250.
I have read decent reviews on the jvc everion gz-ms120 and the panasonic sdr s50.
Does anyone have any advice please?

Thanks mchale. Another good review for the Panasonic. Hadn't seen the Samsung before, and the JVC not mentioned. Is there anyone with experience of any of these three?Always look on the bright side of life ....la la la la la la la la0
