hi could anyone tell me i have care and protection on my credit card but im only a card holder i have been off ill at work and worried about meeting the payments can i use the payment protection we have been paying for even though the main card is in my partner name? PLEASE HELP lol x:eek:

You would need to look at the T&C for the payment protection. Has your partner still got the paperwork?

I would guess that as it is his debt, and your card balance is legally his responsibility to repay you probably won't be able to make a claim.

You say "we" have been paying for.
It's your partners accounts and he is liable - you just happen to have a card.
You need to check the policy to see if it covers just the account holders illness or both of you.
I have a feeling it will be his only but you need to check.
