BT Home Phone to be used for business

I currently have a BT home phone on one of their unlimited call plans whereby I pay a fixed amount each month to make unlimited calls anytime.
I might start running a business from home and I expect that I will be making a lot more phone calls that might involve diverting calls to another land line or even mobile.
Do I have to inform BT of a change of useage from domestic to business and what might be the best call plan. I am assuming I can keep my current land line number?
I just want to fall foul of future very high call volumes if it goes against any fair useage policy I might be getting at present?
I just want to be straight and up front with BT.

Not really. The difference is based on the tariff - the line is physically the same. The increased cost provides a faster response in the case of line breakdown and enhanced compensation if it takes longer to fix than the same or next day (Res users have to wait 3 days).
If you're running the business from your home, I'd wait to see how it pans out, you can always upgrade to a business line later if required.0
