Question about bank transfers

Hello folks,

I need to transfer varying small amounts of money to people in China on a regular basis. They have RMB bank accounts, but not credit cards. I don't want to do it by draft because I have to go into the bank every time (according to Natwest). However, bank transfers, Western Union, etc, all charge so much that it wouldn't be worth my while sending the money at all.

Anyone got any ideas? Banks that don't charge or only charge a very small amount for transfers? Sterling bank accounts that allow me to write RMB cheques?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Rob

I'm not sure myself, but could you maybe open an account over in China, send a load of money across to it, then transfer the small amounts of money from your china account to their accounts which should be free like it is here? Just thinking off the top of my head here :o
