Graphs and pie charts?

Hey whats the easiest way to create basic graphs and pie charts? MS Word or Excel, can someone please give me a step by step guide?

    First for a Pie Chart, you need two columns.

    Left Column is the relevant sections, Right Column is the values.

    Excel will take the title off of the top of the right column, so put the title at the top of it.

    Once you have the full table, highlight it, and click on 'Insert' on the ribbon on the top, then pie, then select the type of chart

    EDIT: It also works the same way for other graph types...
