If there's alreaady a thread on this please move it. I've just lifted my first row of early potatoes from my lottie and I have another row to lift this week if we get a dry day. What I'd like to know is what do other people do with the ground where they were? Could I plant late main crop pots there? Over winter onions or just prepare the ground ready for next year?
It's my first allotment so I don't really have a clue what I should do but it looks like a lot of ground to just leave. TIA.

"Who’s that tripping over my bridge?" roared the Troll.
