When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :D:D

Good morning everyone, hope all is well. I’m still trying to get organised into some sort of routine.

    • [STRIKE]Look into moving bank accounts[/STRIKE] new account opened online now to get everything moved over
    • [STRIKE]Phone electrical companies regarding the error in direct debits[/STRIKE] I think I may eventually have this sorted will wait to see if the money goes back into account on Tuesday :j
    • [STRIKE]Phone the bank regarding the indemnity claim[/STRIKE] they are useless I'm sure a child could do better
    • [STRIKE]Catch up with the ironing (and put it away)[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]All meals from stores today[/STRIKE] I've decided to start making dishes in bulk and freezing some
    • [STRIKE]Have a shower instead of a bath[/STRIKE]

    • [STRIKE]Feed the cats and dog[/STRIKE]

    • Spend some time with DS and OH
    • Sort out the accounts for the business I will leave this until tomorrow as printer has decided to jam therefore can't print info from paypal
    • [STRIKE]Clean and tidy the living room[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Interview for a part time job[/STRIKE] I will know by the end of the week, I hate the waiting.
    • Schedule time to sort course work
    • Catch up with temping paperwork
    • [STRIKE]Complete copywriting work [/STRIKE]
    • Get an early night and catch up on sleep (not had a proper sleep for 2 nights)
    • [STRIKE]Sort diary so that I am better organised[/STRIKE] I think this is done, I just need to stick to it now.
    • Look into what local boot sales are on at the weekend I'm going round in circles with today I will leave it until tomorrow and try again, it will still give me a couple of days to get organised
I think that’s enough to be getting on with today. Hope everyone has a good Tuesday.
