    yeah i still call em sick notes though because nobody understands the fit note :p

    effectively the same thing anyway - you still get them if you need to be signed off for esa

    Thank you all again for the replies.

    I have had the extension for Tax credits so not entitled to anymore.

    I have had the benefits people phoning, after we filled in an online claim form.
    But daughter hasn't been awake to talk and give her permission for me to speak on her behalf.
    I can't just wake her and hand her the phone as she would just freak out and refuse...she needs time to get herself together to talk on the phone.
    I think we may have filled in the wrong claim form, and my sister thinks we should apply for DLA.
    I will take her back to the GP, takes so long to get an appointment!!

    you never know, she might be eligible- its worth a go. she might get low rate rate mobility.. especially seeing as you already said she wont go out without you!
