Beetle help

I keep getting these bugs in my apartment, usually only one every so often but they are becoming annoying!
I think I have identified them as ground beetles, they're black with a hard shell (v hard to kill!) and move quite fast but don't seem bothered about light

any ideas?

You can also package one up and send it to the Natural History Museum and they'll identify it for you foc.
