is it possible to reduce cpu useage on one program?

in Techie Stuff
hi i have installed camfrog chat program and it keeps freezing all the time. i had a look in task manager and it was up to 85 alone just on that program. is it possible to reduce cpu usage have installed extra ram etx but seems to be worse. thanks

Right-click the process in Task Manager - Set Priority - BelowNormal or Low.
However, it sounds like the program isn't working properly. Try uninstalling it, reboot, install, reboot.0 -
It sounds like the program is not executing properly or perhaps leaking memory. If it's freezing, something clearly isn't right. Are you running the latest version?
I'm not sure if this will necessarily help in your case but if you want to reduce the priority of a process you can do so in Task Manager.
Right click on the taskbar and select Task Manager from the context menu. Click on the Processes tab and locate the name of the process you wish to change priority. Right click on the process name and select Set Priority from the contxt menu, you will get a further menu which allows you to change to something like Below Normal.0
