What help for partially sighted children ?

Hi youngest has a disability (CP),and now been told is partially sighted,what help or equipment could she get to help her ?,she is 10,we are waiting for sensory team for visual impairment children to come and see what she needs,any ideas please,she has DLA due to her disability and other items from the O.T including a shower,I have been told to inform DLA of the change,but wont because we had to goto tribunal for dla,which she won,any help could be useful.

    The eye hospital should have a low vision clinic. They can give advice on low vision aids and do give magnifiers.
