Leon - would the kit do a 900 corner shower do you think?
Yeah - easy.
I did an 800 cubicle so had three walls to do as opposed to your two. It really is very easy to use and apply and you don't have to go right up to the ceiling, about a meter should do it. I probably did overkill on the job and used all the material to tank it out. The only thing I would say is that it can take several coats (roller supplied !) so I kept a fan heater in there to dry the coats out before applying another.
I was in two minds whether to bother and I'm sure a straight tile over what was there job would have lasted a few years, but I didn't want to go through all the hassle again so opted for the belt and braces approach. The price is worth paying IMO for peace of mind.

Would it be possible just to fit a shower pump to your existing set up ? We had a gravity fed mixer when we moved to our present home which was absolute pants. One shower pump later and a bit of tinkering, a fantastic power shower. I think the pump was about £90.0 -
Thanks Suisidevw I'll give you a shout if the recommended plumber doesn't show tomorrow. I wasn't bothered about the white box effect too much - more the cost/hassle involved in the electrics side of it.
Out of interest, Leon, how long did the tanking take to do please?0 -
OK, hte cost of the electrics was about £250 IIRC which was running from the consumer unit by the hall, up above ceiling and dropped down and also for wiring up the underfloor heating. HTH. Ps, I'm in cardiff too, think you know that as you guessed my location in a previous post!0

Are you putting your shower tray directly onto the floor? or is it on adjustable feet, this will largeley depend on the height and position of the waste pipes, if it's on adjustable feet, the tray goes in first, the floor and walls are tiled, the floor tiles can go slightly under the tray, then a panel or two go on to cover the feet and the waste fittings0

The floor is concrete Sparkiedave. We have a kit which puts it up on legs and panels go round it so I see how it would be possible to get the tiles slightly under the edge of the panel.0
