Very Slow PC

The past week its gone very slow, im with Virgin and its taking forever to load stuff on. I do a lot of online surveys is there anyway of checking whether these are slowing my PC down?
Also I have run Malware and AVG and it hasnt picked anything up

I dont think so mean were on the full whack and I dont really download that much might be worth a check though0

Run speedtest and see what you get http://www.speedtest.net/
Have you cleaned tried cleaning your temp files? Download CCleaner, install and run the cleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/slim
This will remove your history and cookies as well.0 -

Did they say when it would be working correctly again? It could be their DNS server you could try changing your DNS temporarily to one of the following:
http://www.opendns.com/
http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/
http://www.comodo.com/secure-dns/
Changing DNS is windows XP, Windows 7,Vista0 -
They said 1 or 2 days even though its been over a week0

AVG is a junk AV that tends to not pick up anything at all these days, you should switch to one of the reliable/reputable Anti Viruses out there0 -
Instructions written by alienRIK:
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)0
