Bank Account - Poor Credit - Incentives?

I have poor credit, well not so poor but getting to a good stable score, however I have recently twice I have been turned down twice for a mobile phone contract.

Now what I really wanted to do is to get a bank account which includes mobile phone insurance as part of the package.

Do any of you guys know of any bank account that is offered for people with poor credit ( I don't want to risk being rejected by applying for an account that I feel 50 50 about being accepted for ) with mobile phone insurance?

I think Lloyds TSB do this as part of a package if you upgrade to Vantage on their basic bank account.

Also, do you have home insurance with all risks cover as some policies allow up to £500 cover for personal possessions away from the home. if you need any help with that, I can check this out as I work in that field
