If so we would not recommend any change in wiring as this would probably end up with the actual heaters not being capable of heating the property as the size of these will have been designed around the actual tariff.

I have a read of that thread, and it doesn't make good reading.

Basically it looks like she's stuck on that tarrif and with Southern Electric unless she stumps up upwards of £250 to get the meters changed.

It certainly explains why her bills seem to be so expensive.

I would have them check your teleswitch as it sounds like they are not switching you over, Conveniently it went onto E7 and then after 5 - 20 mins back to full rate, dont know how long this had been going on for and it was a pain having to stay up till midnight but I caught them in the end , and let them try to deny it , even took photo's
