            Hi MemoryGirl :hello:
Re the Halifax account: I have £1000 of my savings bouncing between my normal account and the Halifax one to earn a £5p/m. Its still more than it was earning in my savings (by just a little) and its nice to see it every month
Re Survey sites: It takes me about 6 months to get a £15 voucher from Toluna and even longer though Valued Opinions but they're not too taxing even though they take up some time!

I think breaking down your mortgage into chunks of 1000 is brilliant, my mortgage is £168K at the moment, I can't wait to get started and I am going to draw myself a chart with 168 squares to fill in MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

one user (i think it's uzubairu) has a photo of her house made into a magnetic jigsaw and every time she has paid a certain percentage off of her mortgage she can add another piece of the puzzle to build up the picture of the house that she (will eventually) completely own.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

I manage to get a £15 voucher out of toluna about every 2 months despite not goetting accepted for that many surveys - do the sponsored polls and it is surprising how quickly the points add up!£27.76/£2018 in 20180

Liking the ideas on this thread. hi Memory girl
I have just started looking into Focus groups and have done two so far making me £58 which is a lot better than MS and not as brain consuming, they just ask your opinion! I'm a single mum so its hard to work around the kids and I dont have many options to go for some of the groups but even if I can do 1 a month it all helps Check Gumtree also for postings of new groups occuring. I also do the virtual Sealed pot as well as the loose change.
Like others have said dooyoo isnt that great at the moment so after I have my next cheque I might conentrate more on the competitions as I used to win one or two prizes a month there. There is a great thread on here for all the comps as well as Loquax. Although dooyoo are changing their points system all the time there may be some good items that you can review in the higher points listings.
Buying food when they are reduced (whoopsies) is another great thing which you probably already do. Definitely recommend the free scratchies and I dont do too bad on valued opinions, Ipsos and Global Test Market, and also check onepoll every day (although thats a slow burner).
Although I have a car I tend to walk as much as possible. Am trying to get a job nearer to home now the kids go to the local school.
I always triple check prices of things I need to buy and check HUKD and offeroftheday for new deals for xmas and bday pressies. Have had some good bargains at times if you are quick enough.
Sorry for rambling on but will be watching your thread with interest for new ideas
