Door Knobs

Hi Everyone,

I am in the middle of decorating and am in the process of changing my internal door handles. I want to put door knobs on but I am not 100% sure if I can… not very practical when it comes to things like this.

I have left the mechanical part in the door with the spindle in it. Is it possible to get door knobs to fit the spindle? So it basically uses the same parts and works in the same way? If so does anyone know what this is called so I know what I am looking for

I think that all lock spindles are the same size, so any door knob that you buy should fit. It is just possible that you might have to shorten the spindle but it is unlikely.
