Can these be used on dry hair too or does it have to be damp??

Ahhh, yes, I also saw the slim ones reduced to £39.95 at boots today, shame they never had any in stock though Never mind, will order from Amazon and it'll cost be the grand sum of 5p:D Amazon vouchers will pay for the rest :j

I picked up some of these in store today, marked up as £79 on the shelf and scanned at £79 at the till. Mentioned the £39 price on Boots.com, she hit a few buttons on the till and proclaimed "You're right, they are reduced". May be worth checking if they don't appear to be reduced instore.

:rotfl: I already have the remington slim ones.. I had the GHD slim ones for years until they packed in and I replaced with the said Remington's.. they are very good straighteners but I have mad, thick, curly hair so am hoping the thick ones (which I ordered from Amazon yesterday) will be more efficient.! it'd be great if we could just accept our curly hair wouldn't it? :eek:

Have gone for it and ordered the wide ones .... not got long hair, but it is very thick :eek: and there's a lot of it ......:o

Mine arrived this morning (just after I'd washed/dried/straightened my hair! :mad: ) so couldn't really sample them because hair is now straight!! they are wider than I imagened and I'm sure they will be spot on for me.

Thanks to the poster of the thread I'm hoping it takes half the time to do my hair from now on! :j
