If you read the reviews on Amazon (5stars) people prefer these to GHD'S

I have had GHD's and also used Remington normal ceramic ones. I now have these wet to dry and they are absolutely fantastic - couldn't be without them. Paid a lot more than this for mine too 12 months ago. Grab yourself an absolute bargain!!!

Only thing I'd comment on is to make sure you get something to put on your hair to protect it if you are using them to dry your hair. These straighteners can dry your hair more than normal straighteners. I use a cream and have had no problems

wow these are £78.49 in Argos - thanks Amanda65, my ghd's have just packed up so I think I will give these a go. Presume they are okay to use on dry/damp hair also......

Don't think it's a good idea to use them on wet hair - needs to be towel dry

Does anyone know how wide the plates are? Are the 1.5"

I just bought some slim straigtners .... opened them and they are VERY slim 3/4" ....gonna return them tomorrow and get the Wet2Straight ones if they aren't too wide!
