New Laptop info please...

Hi Guys im a techy my self but the only thing that i can understand is that the USA has to have everything better and bigger , ill get to my point i need to replace my Sony Vaio VGN-S3HP laptop with a new high performance one.

I do like my sonys and would prefer to buy the US one but will the werrenty still cover me in the UK, the reason im asking incase no one had noticed is the US has more accessories , higher spec and is £400 cheaper , before shipping and Export tax etc , so it will prob be around the same price in the end for a higher spec machine.

Why buy Sony when you can get an Asus one, they make the Sony ones for them and tbh are better quality.

and the quality is about the same , however the software that comes with sonys i like and asus dont do a high spec 13" screen model which is what i need. Thanks for the suggestion though.
