Thing is , you will need to be fair in your dealings with all your creditors....are you willing to supply the same information to all your creditors ?
Because at some point you need to be paying them all a fair amount based on the amount you owe them so that you arent favouring one creditor over another
Personally....an SOA is all any creditor would be getting from me , but it would be the truth....

You need to pay your priority bills. you need to pay for your groceries. bus fares to work .if you work .then and only then do you work out what you can pay them, a court would do the same.

When I was sorting out my partners debts, I wrote to all the creditors (I did my own DMP) enclosing SOA's. None asked for bank statements, and they wouldn't have got them if they did!! He also had a couple of CCJ's and not even the court asked for bank statements, they accepted the SOA's I sent.

I don't have anything to hide and I do want to be co-operative to get the best treatment in return but I'd not heard of anyone else being requested for this information in any other threads I read on here...
You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an
"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs :p :rotfl:

    Does happen every so often.

As said, provide only what you are comfortable providing, no more. If that is just your SOA, then so be it.

I was asked for bank statements and details of other creditors by Santander but I didn't provide them - none of their business!! I just filled in the income and expenditure and, eventually, they agreed to token payments after a ridiculous letter saying that it would take me 300+ years to pay the debt off but if I paid 5x the token payment it would 'only' take 60 years. What difference that would make I don't know because I'm in my 50s!! I had no intention of making token payments for ever - idiots!!
